The SmartRIP 2 tool dramatically speeds printing of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications by providing an intelligent path through the image and graphic rich files that typically slow non-Fiery devices And the RIP-and-Print utility drives up to 30% more pages (per time period) through printers in demanding environments.

imagePASS M1

The imagePASS-M1 features an Intel Pentium III 500 MHz processor, a 10.2 GB hard disk drive for job spooling and font storage, and 128 MB of DIMM (Dual In-Line Memory Module) memory standard, all to enhance multi-tasking capability while minimizing network traffic and bottlenecks. The unit also supports 10/100 Ethernet connectivity through two interfaces. This enables the imagePASS-M1 to be accessed through the user network, and/or a "private" network between the controller and the imageRUNNER 7200/8500/105 Series.

The imagePASS-L1 is a self-contained external RIP specifically designed to handle large, complex files being sent to an imageRUNNER 5000/6000.
 
The imagePASS-L1 features an Intel Celeron 366MHz mobile processor, a 10.2GB Hard Disk Drive for job spooling and font storage, and 128MB DIMM memory standard. It offers both parallel and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connectivity, and supports advanced functions such as variable data printing and document building queues from anywhere on the network or via the Internet.
