MEAP SDK

MEAP is Canon's Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform. It allows custom Java applications to be installed and executed directly on MEAP-enabled multifunctional devices. The MEAP SDK provides the necessary libraries, tools, and documentation to support Java developers creation of MEAP applications.

Premium membership in the Canon Developer Support Program is required for access to this resource. There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK. MEAP Developers will need to have access to Adobe Acrobat Professional software to complete several of the required forms.

The MEAP SDK will be released at the sole discretion of Canon USA.

Fees apply

Royalties will apply to commercially distributed MEAP applications.

 
 

Printer Driver SDK

The Printer Driver SDK allows printer settings to be made programmatically from within an application written in VB or VC++ and also includes support for VBA Programming, without invoking the Driver UI. Note that the Printer Driver can not be altered in any way. The Printer Driver SDK can be used only to make Print settings from within an application. This SDK is intended for use in Windows applications only. This SDK is only available to Premium Members.

There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK.
