Premium members of Canon’s developer program have access to various tools and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for which there may be additional costs. These materials and information will be provided at Canon’s sole discretion.
The SDKs made available through this program are for the use of Canon Developer Support Premium Members and authorized developers only. These materials may not be transferred or in any way provided to any third party.
Available SDKs
Printer Driver SDK Lite - The Printer Driver SDK Lite allows printer settings to be made programmatically from within an application written in VB or VC++ without invoking the Driver UI. Note that the Printer Driver cannot be altered in any way. The Printer Driver SDK can be used only to make Print settings from within an application. This SDK is intended for use in Windows applications only. This SDK is freely available to Premium Members. EXAMPLE
Printer Driver SDK - The Printer Driver SDK provides the same capabilities as the Printer Driver SDK Lite , but also includes support for VBA Programming. There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK.
Fax Driver SDK - The Fax Driver SDK allows fax settings to be made programmatically from within an application written in VB or VC++ without invoking the Driver UI. Note that the Fax Driver cannot be altered in any way. The Fax Driver SDK can be used only to make fax settings from within an application. This SDK is intended for use in Windows applications only. MEAP SDK - Allows the Developer to build Java applications for embedding in MEAP-enabled Canon devices. There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK.
Document Manager SDK - The Document Manager SDK is designed so that software developers can develop unique applications using the documentation management function of Document Manager to provide them to users. Using Document Manager SDK, users can simplify or reduce labor-intensive workflows in various business situations by applying the functions of Document Manager or limiting their functions for each use. Document Manager SDK also allows user applications to incorporate a groupware or instant messenger feature in addition to normal document management features.
ScanFront SDK and UI Customization Tool - Allows the Developer to customize the scan flow of the ScanFront 220/220P or customize what you see on the ScanFront screen.
